The "ZORBAX Semi-Prep Guard Column Hardware" is an easy-to-use kit that efficiently protects high-performance semi-prep columns for laboratory use at a cost-effective price. With simple operations, the cartridge components can be quickly assembled to create a high-efficiency, low-dead-volume column capable of handling pressures up to 2000 psi (135 bar, 13.5 MPa). The guard column cartridge uses PPS polymer, which has superior solvent resistance compared to PEEK. Due to its leak-proof design that does not involve metal surfaces, no gaskets are required. This standalone guard column system allows the guard column cartridge to be connected to standard 1/16 inch LC fittings through reusable guard column end fittings.
